EPG wins Supply Chain Award 2020: Lydia® VoiceWear® 4 impresses

First place in an international field: EPG has won the Supply Chain Award 2020 at the Digital Supply Chain Event (Digital SCE) in Paris. The Jury, consisting of prestigious logistics and supply chain managers, assessed Lydia® VoiceWear® 4 as an outstanding innovation out of all the competitors. Philippe Morel, Business Development Manager at EPG for the Voice Solutions sector impressed in two application rounds in which he presented Lydia® VoiceWear® 4 in two-minute videos and online pitches. He then answered the jury's questions and was able to highlight the benefits of the innovative picking vest even more clearly.

Lydia® VoiceWear® 4 impresses with its significantly optimized voice recognition

“The Supply Chain Award once again proves our innovative strength, also in the international logistics environment,” says Philippe Morel. “With Lydia® VoiceWear® we provide pickers with an easy solution through which we can support them very efficiently in their daily work. This is genuine progress in the logistics sector.” EPG prevailed in the final against Ffky4U, S2PWeb and Siemens Logistics France.

Lydia® VoiceWear® represents maximum freedom of movement in the picking process. The microphone and loudspeaker components are integrated into the patented wearing system so users do not need to wear headsets. The vest is easy to put on and provides more freedom of movement for the picker in their daily work. In the latest version EPG has again significantly optimized the voice recognition. A specially developed high-performance microphone guarantees precise voice recognition, even in loud environments. Wearing comfort has also been further improved as Lydia® VoiceWear® 4 is considerably lighter than her preceding model and has better air circulation on the back.
