EPG To Roll Out UK Expansion From New Derby HQ

Logistics Software and voice-picking innovator EPG – Ehrhardt Partner Group has selected Derby as the base for its significant UK expansion. It follows the recent appointment of Gavin Clark as UK Country Manager, as the German-founded supply chain execution specialist continues the ramping-up of its operations and solutions in post-Brexit UK. The company’s UK office will be at Pride Park, alongside major businesses such as Rolls Royce, SERCO and HSBC, with office space and room for meetings and conference facilities to support EPG’s existing nationwide team.

The course is set for growth

The move demonstrates EPG’s faith in the UK as the country forges a new relationship with its European partners in the post-Brexit landscape. Gavin Clark commented: “Strategically, EPG see the UK market as one of the most important logistics markets and there is a strong commitment to continue to invest here and clearly focus on growth.” Commenting on the choice of Derby, he went on: “We recognised that Derby, and particularly Pride Park, is the ideal location for the UK base. Its central location in the country, excellent transport links and major developments on the doorstep such as the East Midlands Gateway will greatly facilitate our growth plans in the UK – both in terms of the customer portfolio and employee numbers. We now have the premium office location, with excellent meeting and conference facilities to take the business forward and grow.”

EPG is a proven global player, with 19 locations and over 700 employees worldwide. Already well-established as a noted name in the voice-picking space with its Lydia Voice product, EPG’s suite of solutions now includes a full supply chain execution suite including Warehouse Management Software (WMS), Warehouse Automation Control Systems (WCS), Dock + Yard Management (DOCK), International Shipping System (ISS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS).

Gavin Clark promises plenty more innovation to come, adding: “Solutions to complement any existing warehouse management software that is already in place, such as Workforce Management that engages directly with personnel and HR, or Contract Management for ‘end to end’ service contract production, through to billing and invoice management using a web portal, offer real optimisation possibilities to hard-pressed warehouse and logistics environments.”
