Cargo

Cargo refers to goods that are transported by a carrier against payment. Other terms for cargo are 'freight' or 'load'. The forwarding agents who organise the transport of the cargo are responsible solely for the transport. They can also carry out the transport themselves, but are not obliged to do so. Different means of transport can be used for the transportation of the cargo. Freight trains and lorries can be used as well as cargo planes or cargo ships.
