Stock

Stock is the inventory of products held in a warehouse or production facility.
A distinction is made between four different types of stock:

- Total stock: The total stock is the sum of all stocks of an article, regardless of whether this article is currently at a storage location, on an interface or in transport.

- Free stock: Free stock includes all goods that are not part of the reserved or blocked stock. Example: Goods that have been stored in a storage location and can be retrieved at any time. Note: Free goods are not necessarily also available goods, since goods in transport are also part of the free stock.

- Reserved stock: These goods have been reserved for orders and are therefore no longer available.

- Blocked stock: These goods may not be withdrawn for customer orders at the moment (e.g. because quality control still has to take place, because the goods still have to ripen or because they are damaged).
